What the client asked for – a Freelance Painting

In this case was fairly straight forward. I had been working on and sharing paintings of various people and scenes in a smudge, smooth painting style with hard comic vector contours and he asked me to do a Freelance Painting of his daughter the same way. So he sent me a few images and I got to work. I had to recreate arms and parts of the clothing as in the original image, she was held up by her parent and it influences the way arms and clothing show and fall.

The client ended up very happy with the result and hanging a large printed version of it in his apartment. This was a lovely job to do, and rewarding as well.

Since the client is an artist himself, the work together was especially connected and symbiotic and I appreciated the communication.
