I have always been a huge fan of patterns, from minimalist geometric to complex figure drawing patterns. As a kid, I had a blanket with a pattern of characters from sesame street and I analyued and looked for repetitions and how often each figure repeated, and where they were randomized. The colors and filler objects inbetween. And then it took a long time until I actually started to learn how to make my own patterns. I was focused on so many other things to create, softwares to study... But I started creating some for fun, untol a shop owner asked me to create a pattern for her. I was in my baby steps as a freelancer, and had a lot to learn but the creation process was so much fun.
