I'm Alexandra, free-spirited illustrator with lots of curiosity and empathy. I love drawing playful, imaginative images bringing stories to life - from children's and youth illustrations to editorial and illustrations for brands. Learning about and making complex topics accessible and making people smile or think makes me happy, and I love to collaborate with publishers, authors, schools, and businesses to touch their audience and inspire empowerment.

In my illustrations for children and young people, I combine colorful imagination with empathy and playfulness. Whether picture books, youth magazines or learning materials - my characters and scenes tell stories that arouse curiosity and are easily accessible for children. I love thinking up loving or playful details that speak to children as well as I care about seeing kids at eye height and illustrating sensitive subjects and children's' struggles to help them feel seen and taken by a virtual hand.

No, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover - but a good book or magazine cover can be the reason someone grabs it in the first place. One of my favourite things is strolling through book stores with my adult book-loving daughter and checking out all the amazing book covers and stories. My degree in typography gives me the skill to not just illustrate but also typeset and layout your book ready for printing guidelines and publishing ;) So, let's do it - let's get your book or magazine rolling!

In 2011, I got my degree as a Media Designer digital/print with a focus on print media. Most of my work since has consisted of Layout, Flyer, Brochure, Logo work.
By 2024, I felt strongly wishing for a change of creative sectors after a long growing passion for illustration. Over the past months, I have been working on my own personal brand, offer and client analysis for 2025, and changed my focus on building an illustration focused portfolio and towards working with clients targeting human topics, kids, wellness, psychology with the intention to make the world a bit brighter with my clients.
