Photo Editing - Composite Series Characterscapes
Characterscapes are a series within my Artscapes family wherein people are depicted the way I perceive them through my artistic lens in the shape of abstract and phantastic compositions
All Images I use to ceate these Characterscapes are Public Domain Licensed Stock Materials licensed for commercial use or photographs taken myself.

Upon commissioning me with creating one, the idea for such an artwork is usually generated through dialogue with the client about the business, mission statement or person to showcase.
I will have an extensive conversation about values, traits, ideals, vision and fears, trigger points or focus point for life or work goals as well as priorities in the person's life or businesses work. This gives me a wonderful base for generating visions using associations, images and metaphors around the overall image this creates, and to end up sketching up an abstract metaphorical artwork carrying these sentiments. It is an abstract and very metaphorical process and image, not a straight, clean depiction. This makes it interesting and phantastical to look at, eye catching and invites to think about the image and associated company.

Especially if it is placed on i.e. a billboard with Headline, a little text and call to action, or used in ads to advertise for your business, as advertising editorial in info material and brochures about your company, it is an interesting way to transport important narratives of your business.
It is supposed to appeal and transport on an emotional, abstract level the characteristics of the person or business / organisation, without a too literal cerebral process. Its purpose is to function as an eye catcher and to create an interest in looking twice and wanting to know more.

All images are created upon my ideas with commercially usable public domain, free or own samples and no usa of AI. All old school, good old Photoshop with masking, adjustments and loads of layers.
