Postcard illustration to celebrate children playing in the snow, Christmas in a Winter Wonderland.

In my Children's Illustrations, I love to hide funny little details that make the kids discover more and hopefully giggle a little, and make the reading time with Mom and Dad fun. Winter, especially in snowy areas, is such a fun time to go outside and play, throw snowballs, build a snowman, chase each other and the snowflakes, make snow angels, go sledding, and admire the sparkling snow and the fun sounds it makes when you walk on it - until your snowsuits are all frozen and soaked with melted and refrozen water. 
Then, it's time to go home, get out of the clam cold snowsuits, into warm, soft, and cozy socks and sweaters, and have a nice big mug of hoooot chocolate with a marshmallow and a candy cane!

This is Winter how I experienced it growing up and what I wanted to capture with this image. Now, that winter is approaching, I'll make sure to share some more soon!
