The Bunny Bear is a little side character that used to accompany the main character in a story I worked on a long time ago. The main character was an artificial boy, finding a flower in a world which had long turned to a wasteland of dry deserts, artificial plants and food generators and mountains of metal and plastic scrap trash. He then takes his bunny bear plushie to  on a journey with the little flower, a weird living kind of object he had never seen in his life, to ask all the weird and interesting characters living on this planet to help him find out what this beautiful, strange thing is.
The Bunny Bear ended up being my favourite creature. For a long time, I proceeded to hide him in most of my drawings, little and subtle. In the background, or along the sides, in another character's pocket or under a piece of furniture, in the shadow.
As the years went by and I had to focus more on the Print and graphic design jobs I received more of at the time, I paused drawing and incorporating him for a while, but I have long since started to use him again. Never big or disturbing the story, just present as a reminder of the little flowers in our lives.
