As most artists, I too constantly experiment with styles and techniques. With all my different kind of illustration styles, the drawing jobs that I did for personal clients, drawing loved ones or themselves, were among the most rewarding ones. The relationship between artist and client is such a precious and personal one, especially when it is about depicting client or even a loved one. Seeing a happy smile on a client's face when seeing the portrait of their child, mother or spouse is such a precious moment. And yes, we have to live off our craft but that happy smile is the best bonus ever.
