Project Description
For Black Forest Artworks, I created a set of three hand-drawn pirate-themed posters for children aged 6 to 10. The goal was to create illustrations that feel inviting and fun, spark imagination, and encourage kids to invent their own stories while exploring the scenes and discovering small details.
Each poster is designed to work on its own, but together they form a larger, connected pirate world. A lot of care went into developing and refining the color palette, making sure all three illustrations feel balanced and cohesive when displayed as a set.
The result is a playful, colorful poster series that combines storytelling, illustration, and thoughtful color design. The images are meant to feel at home in children’s rooms and playful spaces, while still having a clear, consistent visual style across the whole collection.
